Here's Matiko... We're a young, independent, and family-run footwear brand based out of Los Angeles, California providing leather shoes to fashion forward women worldwide. Matiko (pronounced: Mah-Teak-Oh) was founded in 2003 by Jesse Howard. Jesse wanted to create a footwear line that juxtapose the classic silhouettes, stylings, and quality of Europe with his perspective on Southern California’s funky and eclectic styles. His bizarre, almost experimental first collection has since evolved into Matiko’s signature look, now interpreted into a full range of fashion sandals, wedges, pumps, and boots crafted out of premium imported leathers.
